Classical Gas - the Car, Not the Song

Sunday October 29, 2006
Keep your eyes peeled New Yorkers. If you’ve been aching to get your hands on one of Honda’s impressive little natural gas powered Civic GXs, now’s your chance.

This ultra clean burning, near zero emissions GX, boasting gasoline gallon equivalent fuel mileage of 28/39 is the only dedicated natural gas passenger car available in the U.S. Previously limited to the California market at a recommended sticker price of $24,590 - these little fuel sippers will be offered for sale at 19 Honda dealerships throughout the state.

With the price of natural gas consistently tracking at about 25% less than that of gasoline and tax credits to boot with near zero emissions, it’s hard to argue against this economical little package.
