Go Ahead—Excite Us

Friday November 10, 2006
Fuel economy. It’s a snooze, right? Certainly not sexy. Who really gets a thrill out of discussing ways to solve our dependence upon petroleum? And yet don’t we all hope the solutions will present themselves?

Everyday, all around the world, they do. Like next Tuesday, November 14, 2006, the US Department of Energy and the Truck Manufacturers Association will host a demonstration of the latest aerodynamic designs for heavy-duty trucks. They’ll be showcasing aerodynamic design innovations—with the potential to save hundreds of millions of gallons of fuel annually.

Yep, we get psyched about fuel efficiency and cool new ways to power our world. Hey, that’s how we got this job. So go ahead—excite us: Anytime you see, hear or learn of something saving energy—or someone tapping into energy innovations, drop us a line. We’d love to hear from you. --Christine
