Eatin’ Too Much Turkey, Feelin’ a Little Quizzy . . .
Wednesday November 22, 2006
You either love ‘em or hate 'em. You know, those little quizzes in national mags—the ones that promise to divulge the hidden you, your career destiny or your family dysfunction? OK, I’ll admit it—I love ‘em. Maybe it’s my search for the truth, my search for the secret to life—heck, probably just my curious nature, but I’ve been having a click-fest with some fun quizzes this week.
So in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States, we’re sharing two little ditties we’ve discovered that tie in nicely with the coming winter (read: high energy bills), and the upcoming holidays (read: spending too much money). Feel like having a bit of fun and getting smart at the same time? Check out Slate’s Carbon Diet Quiz and the 6º Challenge. We even have our own Automotive Quotient Quiz on how this all relates to alternative fuels. And don’t worry—that carbon diet’s not going to keep you away from your pumpkin pie and filling. --Christine
