Cut the Carbon, Please

Environmental action plans. Even car companies have them these days. And Nissan Motor Company’s Green Program 2010 is a progressive one. Their plan is designed to address immediate challenges (think carbon dioxide emissions/global warming), plus build a long-term sustainable business model. But what does this all mean to us?
It means the internal combustion engine is not going anywhere yet—but it will be tweaked and toned. Stay tuned for more flex fuel vehicles and hybrids from Nissan—in addition to battery-powered electric and fuel cell vehicles—in the next decade. And there’s even plans in the works for a car that can run 100 km on 3 liters of gasoline—do the math, that’s 78.4 mpg. Wow! Now there's a plan to make you smile. Definitely more bang for your buck.
