When’s the last time you checked your whatchamacallit?

Car maintenance. Something always needs an adjustment, a check of the fluid level or maybe a filter change. It’s just the nature of the beast when you have a piece of equipment and you want it to last a long time and give good service. It’s no different with your alternative fuel vehicle.

We’ve put together a schedule of routine maintenance items that tend to be easily forgotten—that is, until they break at the most untimely moment and leave you stuck who knows where. Take a look through this list and see if there is any service item on your vehicle that’s screamin’ for attention. And, sure enough, there's Scott checkin' the oil on Gretel, our veggie oil powered car.
