Alternative Fuel Truckin'

We recently finished reading Gary Paulsen's novel, The Car, and found ourselves not only inspired by the 14-year-old main character who builds a kit car in his garage (yes, we've got a kid in our house that would love to do that), but it got us thinkin' about their concept of truckin', which takes the form of two Vietnam vets and the 14yo spontaneously driving across the country and seeing where life leads them. Now while Wayne and Waylon may have done their truckin' with a kit car and a Harley, it got us ponderin' a bit.

We're sittin' here puttin' together some diesel truck photo galleries and the thought strikes--wouldn't it be sweet to take a road trip in one of these--even better when powered by biodiesel. Perhaps some guilt-less truckin'?
