2007 Lexus RX 400h AWD Hybrid Road Test

Does your lifestyle dictate (or at least suggest) that you drive an SUV? Do you feel yourself torn between the practicality they offer and that nasty awful reputation they have as destroyers of our perfect planet? Would you cringe every time you climbed behind the wheel--ever on the lookout for those nasty glares from thy friends, neighbors and fellow commuters?

Well, we've found a solution--or at least a pretty good compromise. Our friends at Lexus have taken the fore-to-mentioned earth destroyer and turned it into a relatively benign and earth-friendly(er) hybrid green machine. And don't forget the luxo-factor that comes standard on every vehicle that Lexus makes.
