Your choice: a CNG or LPG set of wheels?

Friday January 4, 2008
Got a hankerin' for a compressed natural gas (CNG) powered car? How 'bout a propane (LPG) fired truck or van? Have ya heard how clean (emissions wise) these vehicles are, how efficiently they consume fuel or maybe even better yet, how inexpensive the gas fuel is compared to gasoline?

Granted, these aren't the easiest vehicles to get your hands on--no headin down to the local dealer and pickin' one off the lot. It requires a little more tenacity of spirit if you plan to lay claim to one of these rides. From finding a purpose built gasser fresh from the factory to digging up purveyors of preowned models or resources to get your current set of wheels converted, we've written up a couple of articles to help you get the ball rolling. Take your pick for 2008: will it be compressed natural gas (CNG) powered or propane (LPG) powered?
