Road test: 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD

Already a good lookin' vehicle, Chrysler decided to give the 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee a minor interior and exterior refreshing anyway--certainly didn't hurt its curb appeal at all. But we sure are glad that they didn't mess with the potent little 3.0-liter V-6 turbodiesel. We've made no secret of our fondness for diesels (especially Scott, he's a self-proclaimed diesel junkie) and we really hate to see someone try to fix what "ain't broke."

So we set off on our week-long test drive of the 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD with a reasonable expectation that we would be pleased with the experience--and we even got a treat from Mother Nature to check out the 4x4's foul weather personality.
