Alternative Fuel Station Finder

We recently received an email from a reader who has created this excellent online alt fuel station finder. What we like about this one is that it has current and up-to-date pricing information for compressed natural gas (CNG), biodiesel, e85, propane, hydrogen and electric charging stations. The nice thing about the pricing information is that it helps alleviate the sticker shock when you pull up to that alt fuel pump. Interestingly enough though, with petroleum costs "through the roof," the disparity in prices is not there anymore. And sometimes alt fuels are even cheaper--like here in the mid-Atlantic region, E85 tends to run about a buck a gallon less than regular gasoline.

So, go ahead and check out where you can find CNG, biodiesel, E85, propane, hydrogen or a public electric charge ... price the alt fuels in your region ... see how many stations in your area are listed ... and which one(s) go easiest on your wallet.
