Propane and LPG Conversions

Wednesday August 27, 2008
Seems the price (and maybe even the global warming factor) of gasoline and diesel fuel has folks thinking about converting their petrol and dino burners into something cleaner and less expensive. And while we've recently talked about electric conversions and CNG conversions, lately folks have been asking about companies that do propane (or LPG) conversions. While the cost and EPA regulations have made it tough to find a street-legal kit, it's still do-able. So whether you're interested in converting your weekend off-roader or your regular get-to-work-and-home set of wheels, here are propane & LPG conversion resources and companies to get you going in the right direction. And please let us know of other propane conversion kits or companies that should be added.
