Selective Catalytic Reduction: Goodbye NOx

Clean diesel technology uses more than just Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel fuel (ULSD) to attain squeaky clean diesel emissions. Beyond Common Rail Diesel (CRD) injection, Oxidation catalysts (OxyCats), cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR), and Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs)--way at the very end of the exhaust stack--lives the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) catalytic converter.
