If you have been trying to buy more organic groceries and live a greener lifestyle, have I got the car for you. Well, almost. It's still just a concept car, of course, but imagine the possibilities.
Mercedes-Benz is thinking outside the box with this one: a car that grows from a seed through proprietary DNA, developing organically into a material called BioFibre. As though that weren't green enough, the car also stores and uses solar power to run. Aptly called the Biome, the conceptualized car is touted as a "symbiosis vehicle." And before you ask, it is every bit as strong as structurally as steel. And like every other good plant, it releases oxygen into the environment, offsetting carbon emissions much like any other plant, which of course it is, except you can get behind the wheel.
