Experience

Lori Weaver is a is a former writer for ThoughtCo who wrote about renewal and alternative fuels. Lori is an experienced journalist and marketing specialist with a varied background of work experience. Lori was the editor and for  WATT Global Media agriculture industry magazines, Feed International and Feed Management. She managed the print and online content for the trade journal. 

Lori's writing interest grew from a background in global fuel, food, and feed issues. Her engagement in renewable fuels ignited during the past decade while writing about the growing and competing demands for grain crops. This competition between using the plants for renewable fuels and using the crop as animal feed inspired her. Lori worked as a ghostwriter for a large ethanol-producing company. She provided online content specialized in transportation and renewable energy and fuels, as well as in sustainability. She avidly reads about new and emerging technology, particularly as they relate to sustainable living.
