Lexus and luxury are synonymous--throw in a hybrid drivetrain and add a little eco to the mix. Our RX400h tester had the AWD option and returned an average of 26.4 mpg--pretty good fuel economy numbers for an SUV/Crossover in mixed driving. But we bet Lexus could up the eco factor quite a bit with a 4-cylinder option. This vehicle has two electric motors that could be pressed into duty to easily assist a small engine for that V-6 feel with I-4 economy.
