2008 Flex-fuel Vehicles

by Christine & Scott Gable
for About.com

Flex-fuel vehicles (FFVs) can operate on ethanol up to 85 percent (E85), gasoline or any combination thereof. According to the National Ethanol Vehicle Coalition, more than 750,000 FFVs will be produced in 2008--and that's quite a step up from 1993, when there were less than 500.

Also available in flex-fuel, but not pictured below: 2008 GMC Savana 1500/2500 (cargo and passenger) Van, 2008 Lincoln Town Car, 2008 Chrysler Aspen, and for fleets only, the 2008 Crown Victoria. The 2008 3.9L flex-fuel Pontiac Montana (not pictured here) is available only in Canada and Mexico. Enjoy these 2008 photos, and we'll update new releases as they continue to be announced.
