The Q7 TDI was brought to the United States in October of 2008 to participate in the Audi Mileage Marathon. Equipped with Audi's 50 state compliant LEV II BIN 5 emissions certification 3.0-liter TDI clean diesel engine, the vehicle is expected to be on sale in the United States in early 2009.
