Toyota's hybrid concept sports car promises the best of both worlds: aerodynamic design combined with carbon fiber and titanium components. Translation: One sleek, hot and fast car that goes easy on emissions and heavy on fuel economy.

With a V6 engine partnered with a hybrid electric system, the FT-HS aims for a 400 horsepower output with impressive acceleration of 0 to 60 in 4 seconds. Yet it's a car that aims to meld ecology and emotion in a suitable sportscar for the 21st century. Utilizing lightweight aero-dynamic materials, the FT-HS combines hybrid capability with snazzy sportscar essentials.

Equipped with a V6, 3.5L-engine, this is a new breed of sportscar aimed at modern drivers whose priorities include safety, ecology and social responsibility. Stay tuned for more. Check out the FT-HS Photo Gallery.
