For 2007, the Jeep Grand Cherokee finally gets a diesel engine option. For several years the Cherokee's little brother, the Liberty, had a diesel, a respectable 2.8-liter 4 banger. It was nice, it was good, but it didn't seem quite right that the Grand Cherokee was without the option. Good to see Chrysler right a wrong. The all new 3.0-liter V-6 CRD clean diesel delivers just what was needed.
