2007 Honda Civic Hybrid engine bay

It's not a rocket, but it's not a slug either. Able to produce 110 HP, this engine uses Honda's i-VTEC technology to continuously adjust cam timing and valve lift for maximum efficiency while relying on its mated small DC electric motor for power boost.
