If you are anxious to get a Prius Plug-in Hybrid for your very own, be aware that unless you are able to purchase it in one of 15 launch states, you will have to wait until 2013 when the vehicle will be available nationwide. The 15 states where the Prius Plug-in was made available beginning in March 2012 are Washington, Virginia, Vermont, Rhode Island, Oregon, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Hawaii, Connecticut, California and Arizona.
If you are unable to purchase your vehicle from one of the states listed as offering the Prius Plug-in during 2012, contact your local Toyota dealer and ask for assistance in purchasing your vehicle. If you do plan to purchase from one of the states listed above, be sure to contact dealers ahead of time to learn about potential vehicles in stock.
