Squeaking in at less that $30,000, Acura offers the ILX Hybrid at a price lower than a lot of competitors and this luxury hybrid is worth a look. Some have referred to this model as the luxury version of the Honda Civic Hybrid. Similar in size to the Ford Focus Hybrid, Toyota Prius or Lexus CT 200h, the Acura ILX Hybrid sports a more traditional silhouette without the swooping top lines of a hatchback. Expect a modest interior, as luxury vehicles go, with plenty of leather but also a lot of molded plastic. Look for excellent handling and a style that is pleasing to the eye. The Acura ILX Hybrid will be powered by a 1.5 liter 4 cylinder engine together with an Integrated Motor Assist system.
