2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

Hybrid Cars and Trucks for 2010

MSRP: $27,625; MPG: 41 city/36 highway
2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid
With a base price of $27,625, the Fusion Hybrid isn't the cheapest gasoline-electric on the road and with an EPA rating of 41 city/36 highway it isn't the most fuel efficient. But the Fusion will do something that other hybrids won't — it'll go 47 mph on electric power alone. Moreover, Ford claims it'll go 700 miles between fillups of its 17.5 gallon fuel tank. The Ford's styling is a little more conventional than the Prius or the Insight and the fact that it's produced by a domestic automaker will appeal to some buyers.
