2008 Clean Diesels Are Rolling Out

Monday July 23, 2007
Clean. Diesel. Not generally two words used in the same sentence, much less linked together in a powerful way. Enter the new generation of diesels designed to run on ultra low sulfur diesel (ULSD) fuel. Yes, by the time December 1, 2010 rolls around, all retail fuel outlets will be required to have this fuel available. And that makes it an exciting time for diesel lovers. Note we said diesel lovers, not black smoke, asthma cough-inducing lovers. And thankfully diesel engines will be getting a new lease on life. They've always been the hands-down winner in internal combustion engine efficiency, and now they are just as clean as gasoline engines. And that means a whole new generation of vehicles is about to be born. As the 2008 clean diesel models are released, we'll be adding them to this list to keep you up-to-date on the latest. Take a look at what's been announced for the coming model year so far - 2008 Diesel Vehicles Available.
